Salon de Thé – Strasbourg, France
800 sq. ft. tea room in a historic landmark district

This 800 sq. ft. Salon de Thé, located on Strasbourg’s iconic Grand-Rue, was designed to seamlessly blend into its historic and touristic surroundings while promoting sustainability and community connection.
The interior design emphasizes natural, eco-conscious materials such as wood and stone, carefully selected in collaboration with the owner to align with both the heritage of the neighborhood and the eco-friendly policies of the city. The result is a warm, inviting space that respects the past while embracing contemporary sensibilities.
We also designed the storefront and window treatments, ensuring both aesthetic harmony with the streetscape and privacy for guests inside. In warmer months, the café extends into a charming street-facing terrace, offering locals and tourists a place to relax, socialize, and take in one of the most beautiful and culturally rich streets in Strasbourg.
This tea salon is more than a café — it’s a community hub, a pause in the city’s rhythm, and a reflection of Strasbourg’s unique blend of tradition and innovation.
